OnePlus 8T

Since 2016 every year in the fall OnePlus releases its “T” series smartphones as an interim upgrade to the original handsets. This year OnePlus 8T the upgrade to OnePlus 8 is expected to be unveiled on October 14. MySmartPrice has shared information relayed by tipster Ishan Agarwal hinting that the OnePlus 8T will launch on October 14. The tipster notes that there might be slight delays due to the unprecedented circumstances.

Below are the OnePlus 8T expected specifications:

The OnePlus 8 Pro reported to features a 6.78-inch OLED panel capable of an even faster 120Hz refresh rate. Previously, OnePlus 8 has a 90Hz refresh rate.

According to Pricebaba, it is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC and come in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.

As for the camera, there is expected to be a quad-camera setup 48MP main camera and 16MP ultra-wide camera, with the macro camera of a 5MP sensor. A 2MP portrait sensor is also anticipated for the OnePlus 8T. For the selfies on the front, the OnePlus 8T expected to feature a 32MP camera.

For the battery, the OnePlus 8T is expected to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

In terms of price, the OnePlus 8 starts at £599 in the UK and $699 in the US, while the 8 Pro starts at £799 in the UK and $899 in the US. We’d expect the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro tend to cost a little more than the original phones they’re based on, so expect potential prices of $749/£649 and $949/£849 for the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro respectively.

Though reports do claim there will be no Pro variant this time around.
